Rashtriya Military School, Dholpur (Raj) is a proud mission driven institution established with an aim of imparting quality education to the wards of Defence Services Personnel and developing life skills among the young minds to become effective citizens of the nation. The School prepare the cadets academically and physically for entry into the National Defence Academy and other military training academies in India. Leadership qualities are cultivated through well-run house and pre-factorial systems. Cadets are exposed to the wholesome influence and ethos of discipline and duty so that they are brought up as sincere, dignified and well – balanced personalities. The school aims at developing qualities of body, mind and character which will enable the young cadets to become successful citizens. We believe that powerful learning and teaching occurs under a shared spirit of respect which creates a passionate schooling experience recognized for its warmth, energy and excellence.
As we complete 59 years of yeomen service, what comes to my mind,” Success comes to those who work hard and stays with those, who don’t rest on the laurels of the past.” I feel fortunate and happy to continue my arduous responsibility as the Head of the institution with the true motto of the school “Character is the highest virtue” in grooming and shaping the future leaders.
Aristotle once said that,” Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” And so in addition to academics, sports and other co-curricular activities are regularly organized. We motivate all cadets to participate in a plethora of activities ranging from literary activities, dance, drama, variety of sports to environmental conservation programmes. With an objective to boost mass participation and provide an opportunity to each and every cadet thematic class. The school has also formed various clubs to strengthen cadets academics and other performances. It is mandatory for every cadet from class VI onwards to become the member of a Club.
Believing in harmonious growth of cadets we put equal emphasis on academics, sports, life skills and values which is important in the ever changing global milieu. Cadets get ample exposure to smart classroom teaching learning process besides conventional classroom teaching. Going by the global needs and trends of quality and holistic education we impart technologically embedded education and constantly work on pedagogical practices.
The success of any educational institution depends on its dedicated staff and faculty. I compliment the luminescent efforts of my teaching and non-teaching staff who render their services from the nascent hours to the winding notes of the day bringing the school to its present stature. I, along with my team of silent workers and dedicated faculty, intend to build on this strong foundation and raise the standards in all spheres. I assure you that my doors will always be open to the cadets and their parents for any suggestion or guidance. Together, aim to script a success story for every cadet and surpass all records set at scholastic and co-scholastic levels.
